**AA Candidate Second Tryout Process** During evaluations season...

As tryout camps start to release players, many of them will want to access a second tryout with another recruitment area.  Please note the requirements for players to obtain a second tryout.

A player cannot under any circumstances:

1. Try out anywhere initially other than the Recruitment Area in which his/her home LMHA is located.

2. Try out after being cut from his home Recruitment Area anywhere without approval from the SCAHL.  To obtain approval, the steps below must be followed.  If, and only after, the required forms have been received by the SCAHL- and SCAHL will rule on the application and determine to which In Need Recruitment Area the player will be directed for the second tryout.

Recruitment Areas who have not applied to the League for In Need status and been approved, may not accept any second tryout players.

Players seeking the second tryout will notify the League that they are interested in the second tryout. Those players will be required to obtain a letter from their Resident Recruitment Area confirming that they attended and have been released from that try out and get a new Player Movement Form from their home association, but will not be able to request a specific Host Association over the other for the Second Try Out. The League will then communicate to the Recruitment Area that is deemed In Need closest to the player of their request for the Second Try Out. Those Recruitment Areas will then have the choice of which players they choose to bring in for a second tryout. *Remember this is all based on the needs of the teams, and not the needs of the player.*

All forms and letters to be submitted to Greg Davenport at

There is no such thing as a third tryout.
